Star Objects

Our collections contain unique and special objects related to the history of Lochbroom and its people. We asked volunteers, staff and friends of the museum to explore our collections, and pick out objects, photos and oral histories that told a story that was of interest to them.

Robert Melvilles Duelling Pistols

Robert Melville built the first houses, storehouses, workshops and pier in Ullapool, and owned three ships. He was given this set of matching duelling pistols in 1802.
